As few on you know on the 31st on December 2011 Barack Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act which basically entitles the government to detain any American Citizen indefinitely without charge or trail which violates one of the basic and fundamental rights there are, the human rights. This law that the President signed makes US no better than China with their oppression of Tibet, I mean how did he come to the conclusion that it should be a law?! It pushes the states into dictatorship more and more, this means that Obama can detain his opponent in the presidential election and therefore stay as the top man in the country till he dies. Even though he said his "administration" won't use this law, we are not sure whether he will abide with his promise although history will tell us that most probably he won't.
Right now I live in Europe and until couple of weeks ago I always thought in the future I would move to the "land of the free" for at least couple of years as I always welcomed the thought of the possibilities that accompany corporate America but now? I don't know about you but I wouldn't like to live in fear that I could be put into Guantanamo Bay type of prison for the rest of my life for an unknown reason and without a chance of ever returning to a normal life that I once led.
Obama promised to close GB and to end America's violation of human rights but now it seems he made it much worse by turning on his citizens, I think Obama might turn out to be one of the worst decisions America made well except Bush.
However I'm not an American and I don't live in the US so I would be really interested in opinion's of those that do. So leave a comment and let me know.

The Big Bang Theory and how it has changed over the 4 series( yes I am talking about the TV show)
Even though I live in Britain I don't find any of the British sitcoms appealing to well as mostly they are aimed at the working class which needs basic drama and horrendous jokes to be entertained, apparently. So when I watch any TV show it mostly originates from across the pond. I find the American show sometimes more professional than the likes of EastEnders or whatever backward little show the BBC has produced. This leads me to discuss my beloved show called The Big Bang Theory.
You see what most captured my interest in BBT is that it had a range of themes in the show and it wasn't all about sex and how to find the 'one'. At the beginning it had a big input of scientific merit in it which may be why it appealed to me. However it also had the 'dating' input which I also enjoyed because it was played simultaneously with the science and it just mixed and that made it so different and so better than other mainstream sitcoms. However in the last series the writers decided to include multiple serious emotional themes and yeah it was still funny but it was just different. And slowly it's losing its appeal for me and no great acting from Jim Parrsons is going to change it.
Do any of you know any other shows that have slowly changed and lost it's appeal to some of you?
Let me know.

Just some issues that troubled my mind these past two months.
Hey,
As you probably have noticed I haven't done any posts as firstly, due to family circumstances secondly, I have had a long holiday without any communication to the outside world. So lets get started.
You see month and a half ago my grandfather died after a long fight with Parkinson's disease and other more complex illnesses. This persuaded to explore the whole philosophical issue about death and what it means to those surrounding us. At the beginning my reaction was rather mild as my relationship with him wasn't what the majority would call 'close' but I was surprised for my lack of emotion. However the most of my family acted quite the opposite to me. This prompted me to ponder why is everyone is so sad and tragic-like. Even though I will not see my grandfather ever again I wasn't sad because well he has gone to a better place, hopefully. Although most of you might argue that's quite a religious view however even though I'm an atheist I like to believe there is something after life, not something similar to Christian heaven but something that is beyond our capability of understanding. This leads me to the funeral. Of course the appearance is suppose to be sober which again puzzles me greatly. Why must we fill our life with reluctance to enjoy it. I see a funeral rather to be a celebration of life opposed to another event where we need to lose enjoyment of the so called wonderful life. So I have decided that for my funeral I will order everyone to wear colourful clothes and have AC/DC's 'Shoot to Thrill' playing at full blast.

The main reason why Europe is going bankrupt these days
These last few months and years have been a disaster for the economic Europe as countries like Spain and Portugal are on the brink of bankruptcy and Greece has fallen so hard many think it's futile to exhaust the European Union funds on a country that is going not going the improve it's economy but fall in debt once again. Unfortunately my knowledge of economics is the same as the probability of China turning into a democracy so I decided rather to look at the historical variable that could have generated today's problems.
At first I was looking at the things in common the Southern Europe has in common and by accident my friend was reading a book about the Roman Empire and all it's history and he prompted that in fact the Roman Empire may have a massive say about how some countries are the way they are.
As many of you know during it's height the Roman Empire was in charge of every land around the Mediterranean Sea, in Europe and in Africa. However the Romans never reached the Baltic Sea and the North Sea where there are countries like Germany, Netherlands and Scandinavia. (Although you could argue that UK was just under their command for substantial amount of years than the Mediterranean countries). And if you now look at those countries you will see that they are now the power house behind Europe, they are the ones producing the most and they are the ones without so much as a flaw in their economies (UK excluded). Now the the countries that were under the masters of logistics and tactics that were the Romans are now on the cliff edge staring into the black abyss that is the economic failure because just look at Spain and their philosophy and their socially accepted system of life. For them it's coffee in the morning till 10 then bit of work then that infamous siesta and then a little bit of work again. For the southern countries that's the routine for most of them and that just smells of laziness and inability to care, it's like they are always high and don't really care about anything. I think this has lead them to this Economic failure and humiliation. Although some of you might argue that I am just going off the stereotypes that were just dreamt up by Northern Europe but that is just not the case as ask any Frenchman, Spaniard or Italian about the amount of work and expectations in work that are in countries like UK and they will answer that it's all too full of stress and other excuses.
This may not be the reason the very highly paid economists say but I think it has at least played a minor effect on today's economic failure in Europe.

Introduction
Hi my name is Miki and I have decided to do a blog about whatever comes into my mind and certain issues that trouble the world.
Let's start off with what many UK students dread this time of they year. Yes I am talking about the Results Day which is getting closer like a tiger chasing the last gazelle on the plains of the ever hot Africa. After the exams which we sat in June and May everyone started worrying if their long hours spent in front of the textbooks and if the liters of sweat from the anxiety and the near heart attacks got them the grades they expect. The worst days are the very first days after your exams when you can't sleep at all like you had insomnia but the truth is you're going over every answer and every question in your head trying to remember if you done another stupid mistake which might cost you your future. I tried not to think about it but I'm sure I'm not the only one which was obsessed so much. Fortunately that passed after few days and I was able to enjoy silent mornings when no alarm was ringing and my subconscious was going off like a natural clock embedded in my skull.
However I am now sitting in front off my laptop and looking at the calendar like it's some magical painting which you can't get away. It seems like months since I sat my last exam and I'm thinking how the fuck does it take so long for the old pricks who don't have anything to do to mark my papers. I sometimes wonder and I've come to conclusion that there is no logical reason why it takes them so long. I even tried to find some sort of answer online but it's like looking into the sky and trying look for aliens, absolutely futile. So here I am still sitting in my room with absolutely nothing to do but to kill myself mentally by thinking what are my exam results.
